Wayfarers Chapel was built almost entirely of glass and stone, and is a memorial to Emanuel Swedenborg, an 18th-century mystic and theologian. The chapel is located in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Catalina Island can be easily reached by sea and air. Long Beach and Los Angeles Harbors provide channel crossing cruises which take 1-2 hours. Air service is available from Long Beach and San Pedro.
Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific
The aquarium features 17 major habitats and 30 smaller exhibits with representations of the Pacific Ocean. There are over 550 species that can be seen such as sharks, harbor seals, sea stars, and spider crabs. Consider buying your tickets in advance as wait times can be up to an hour after the ticket is purchased. The Long Beach Aquarium is located at 100 Aquarium Way.
