Join Outdoor Recreation for a weekend trip to the Lower Kern River for some whitewater rafting and camping. The Lower Kern is an exciting afternoon run that packs a serious punch.
Five miles, five great Class IV rapids, one thrilling jump rock! When you are not getting drenched by glorious waves, enjoy a relaxing swim in the calm pools, and see the abundance of wildlife. You can’t ask for more in one afternoon of whitewater rafting on the Lower Kern River.

This is a 3-day course designed to bridge the gap between distance in-residence enlisted professional military education (EPME) opportunities. Course lessons are targeted to advance the EPME continuum of learning model – these include principles of leadership roles as an NCO, develop networking, enhance communicative skills, and improve supervisory qualities

Capstone is a requirement for all military that are separating or retiring. Members will complete a form that shows plans have been made for continuing education or employment after military service. This form needs to be completed 90 days before your final out date, and will be signed by your commander. Call 310 653-5428 for a

Newcomers are briefed on some of the most important aspects that they will need for getting settled into Los Angeles AFB. CalVets conducts this workshop to acquaint veterans and separates with CA benefits, like education, employment and health care. Morning is briefings and afternoon is set up for 1 on 1 appointments.

THE BASICS
- A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
- Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton size court and a modified tennis net.
- Played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes.
- Played as doubles or singles.
- Can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels.
