Intro to Whitewater Kayaking

Join Outdoor Recreation this Memorial Day weekend for one of our most exciting Whitewater Kayaking adventures to date! Starting with the fundamentals on the gentle waters of Lake Isabella, participants will develop their skills under the direction of world-class kayak instructors from Sierra South Paddle Sports and put them to use on the Class2+* rapids on the Kern River. After class each day, we will head back to our campground to camp out under the stars.

RecOn: $TBD/person (Active Duty AF/SF, Dependents, Spouse, and Guest)
General Admission: $TBD/person
Included: Meals, equipment, 3-day kayak course, and transportation

Eligibility

• Must be 18+
• Maximum Weight: 250 lbs.

Registration begins April 1 for RecOn eligible patrons.
