The Community Center is located at Fort MacArthur & occupies a beautifully landscaped site overlooking the San Pedro beaches. Designed as a mixed-age, multi-use facility, the Community Center is not only a popular location for military functions, training, off-sites, retirements, and workshops; but it is also a popular location to host parties, weddings, anniversaries, and other special celebrations.

Join the Community Center and LA Star Crafts for a fun spooky night of painting and creativity in the Community Center Grand Ballroom. This program is self paced. So the sky is the limit with your creatively!
Following the event, participants will get to take their trick or treat bags with them, however you will be leaving behind your painted pumpkins for us to display at our Trunk or Treat happening on October 27th from 6-8pm in our back parking lot.
Following the trunk or treat, you can pick up your pumpkins.
COST: FREE
All ages welcome!
ELIGIBILITY: Active duty (all branches), current DoD, and direct dependents.

Participants will automatically be entered in our trunk decorating contest! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!! 🎉

Party Room Reservations
Available Fridays only, 6 pm to 11 pm
The Community Center has space available for events such as potlucks, baby showers, anniversary parties, organizational functions, etc. The Harbor View Lounge is available to serve your needs (no outside alcohol permitted). Reservations can be made up to 2 months in advance. Security deposit is required and refundable. Must be 21 or older to reserve.
Catering Services
Let us cater your next event! Catering services are available for meetings, weddings, and any other special events at the Community Center.
Cyber Zone
Available Fridays only, 6 pm to 11 pm
Need to work on your resume or send some emails, but don’t have access to a computer? Or do you need Wi-Fi for your portable device? The Community Center has you covered! The Cyber Zone has 3 iMac computers and an available Wi-Fi hot spot for personal and portable devices. First come, first serve basis.
The Harbor View Lounge offers relaxing views, friendly service, and monthly events and programs to the Fort MacArthur community. Join us on Friday nights for DJ entertainment, drinks, cocktails, billiards, dancing, and more!
