Aerobics

Group Aerobics Classes are back at the LA AFB Fitness & Sports Center

Starting 3 October 2022, the Fitness Center at Los Angeles AFB will be offering in-person instructor led aerobics classes in the Aerobics room! Schedule and descriptions of classes offered are listed below. Please note, classes will only be offered at Los Angeles AFB at this time. Please standby for a Fort MacArthur Fitness Center schedule.

VIPR 6:30 am
Athletic Stretch 7:30 am
Zumba 5 pm

TUESDAY
Yoga Strength 7 am
Cycle 30/30 11 am
Zumba 5 pm

WEDNESDAY
VIPR 6:30 am

Body Sculpt 11 am

THURSDAY
Yoga Strength 7 am

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Yoga Strength
This strength-based class is suitable for ail yogis! Holding active poses
for longer periods of time and incorporating core movements throughout.
You’ll use muscles you never knew you had and leave this class feeling long,
strong and grounded!

Cycle 30/30
Double the trouble, double the fun. This intense half-and-half work out will
really get your heart pumping. We are off to the races with 30-minutes of
cardio riding formulated to increase your endurance, power and speed, Then
hitting the floor with 30 mins of muscle and weight action.

VIPR
Vitality, Performance, Resilience! Meet your goals head on and fully amped
in body and mind! The enhancing benefits of the ViPR equipment-based class
are combined in this dynamic full-body strength and endurance workout! We’ll
use dumbbells, body bars, bosu balls and body weight…and of course the
ViPR to take your fitness limits to the next level!

Zumba
This total-body workout combines the elements of cardio, body awareness,
muscle conditioning and flexibility. Spend your hour shakin’ your hips,
movin’ your feet and sweating out your frustrations in this high- energy,
totally FUN cardio workout! Tum up the beat!

Athletic Stretch
Restore the body after a hard push through your daily routine. We’ll do
stretching, foam rolling, breathing and twisting. Come one, come all!
